Responsibilities
Tasks:
Plan and organize daily operations
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Perform financial calculations (costing and budgeting)
Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar
Arrange the bar area to make attractive displays
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Collect payments (cash, credit/debit)
Clean bar area and wash glassware
Hire, train, and supervise staff
Ensure compliance with government regulations
Assist with scheduling and workflow
Record and balance beverage sales
Enforce policies and procedures
Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices meet regulations
Answer customer questions about menu items and preparation
Monitor quality and production levels
Order and manage bar stock and inventory
Supervision:
1 to 2 people
